What’s a delegate?
IWW Delegate is an elected office which can be held by any member with six months of consecutive good standing. Delegates sign up and provide orientation for new members, collect cash dues and assessments where needed, and help maintain engagement with new and existing members.
Outreach
Periodically members should receive an email, text, or phone call from a Greater Chicago delegate. We’ll check in with you about your workplace and any organizing occurring there, make sure that you’re receiving our announcements and newsletters, and encourage you to attend our monthly General Membership Branch meeting, weekly Organizing Committee meeting, and other activities.
